Tights and Wedding Days

Weddings aren’t supposed to make you feel stressed. Weddings are supposed to make you feel beautiful, to make everything magical. Logically speaking, that is the most important reason why we have wedding planners, wedding cake bakeshops and wedding dress shops. Though practically speaking, it is very impractical. But then, this is the exciting world of commercialism. And we are by far, happy consumers.

Your wedding dress speaks it all. Girls pay millions for a wedding dress and others just don’t want to spend a dime for it. The best thing about having a wedding dress is that it adds to the drama, it brings out our desire to feel magic.

Realistically speaking, magic is not just about fairies and genies. Making your wedding day full of magic means you just don’t need fairies but you also need a little effort and some stockings and tights to feel what magic really is. Though I am a bit exaggerated about the tights, I am sure that every woman reading this post will definitely agree with me. It is a woman who truly understands what it means to love and enjoy her body.

Of course you need tights. And so, spanx uk offers a variety of tights for you to wear. Tights are specially designed to  show and to emphasize your body shape, making you look sexier. So why hesitate to wear one in your wedding day? Another important fact: tights are not just for wedding days. Feel free to wear them everyday, whenever you feel like you need to show off your body curves.

Why Everyone Goes Gaga Over Lady Gaga

For a moment, we thought Madonna is the only one left who can sing, dance, show personality and dress different in this planet. Madonna is already a legend. Now we have Lady Gaga.

In today’s music industry, the weirder you become, the more famous you are, especially in the younger audience. This formula is also present in the Hollywood industry. No wonder Tim Burton is now famous in some countries and the strange characters played by Johnny Depp are also popular, helping him in his career and making a lot of girls scream and really go crazy over him. And yes, Lady Gaga is one of the famous pop stars who enjoy this type of
formula- WEIRD CHARACTER+LOOKS= FAME.

So why is everyone going gaga over Lady Gaga? It’s all about the formula. Lady Gaga can sing and dance with other famous pop stars, probably famous than her, but you can never ignore Lady Gaga. With her weird hairstyles, weird outfits, weird shoes and weird videos, every girl just want to be cool like her. Seeing her videos is sure to convince you that she is definitely serious to achieve her primary goals in the industry- to entertain and to show her personality.

When interviewed in CNN, Gaga admitted she is a writer and she has journals to that she can have her own space to express herself. I think one of the best things about Gaga, she can be one of the symbols of pop culture but she can also be a symbol of sub culture. Perhaps the reason why there are some people who hate her is because she’s becoming too mainstream, well, too commercialized. In one of TMZ’s shows, she was featured as an artist who endorsed a soda company when she was spotted having two cans of Coca Cola that were designed as her hair curlers.

Maybe it’s her charisma to entertain her audience. Or maybe we finally grew tired of watching cute girls like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. The thing is, everyone goes gaga over Lady Gaga and you just can’t stop her.

More Rendezvous

Finally—it has been a while since a new type of music has inspired me to just sit back and relax after a hard day’s work. (Haha. Talking about clichés and wearing my heart on my sleeves. But really.)  Imagine being in a kaleidoscope of colors: a spark of green, a slither of red, a glint of yellow and flashes of orange, red, and blue as the nostalgic—with an infinitesimal hint of note from afar—sounds of electropop in Rendezvous’ Incognito (Featuring Summertime) play in the background.

Like a new blend of coffee, some sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon, I have found myself tapping my table unconsciously as I let the playful rhythm run into my head. If music were food, Rendezvous would have been a staple for me. This duo’s music create a good transition between the loud reality of the hullabaloo of car honks, and the muted expression on the man pushing his lungs to the limit as he snag the nth note. A sense of peace runs through with Rendezvou’s music.

And, Incognito does just that.

Rendezvous brings you to another level of what is an electropop music, without really becoming a bore to the ears. The music brings to mind that indie tune, a hint of the electronica and the playful mixture of musical instruments to redefine what music should be. I was totally taken aback on the artistry and the crisp newness of each of the instrumental: “No Man’s Land” and “So What.” All three of these instrumental pieces in Rendezvous’ collection are a sure treat. I have loved being in trance with Rendezvous, perhaps, you would want this as well.

Let’s have some Rendezvous.

Going Rendezvous

If you’re looking for some cool tunes, relaxing music and a little different grove, then maybe you should do a little Rendezvous.

Rendezvous is marked as a band with an electropop genre. But then, there’s always this enthusiasm for the members to create a different music, different in the sense that their music can be labeled as “unique” and “refreshing”.

Now let me define “unique” and “refreshing” based on my musical standards. For me both terms suggest listening to music with unique tunes and refreshing mix of sound, and I must say Rendezvous doesn’t fail to meet both standards. Listen to Rendezvous and you will know what I mean.

Rendezvous as Musicians

Rendezvous is composed of two dedicated musicians: Itai Simon and Hagai Izenberg, both in a quest to offer something which separates them from the other stereotypical electronica bands. When you listen to Rendezvous, you always listen to another electro pop band. It’s not the typical mainstream electro pop that you’ve always listened to at home. Rendezvous is different, in a very special way. Listen to their music and you’ll understand why.

More Music

“No Man’s Land” is one of Rendezvous’ collections which express a little nostalgia yet there’s still this playful tune when you get to hear it. The music is basically more on creating a playful atmosphere, lively yet mysterious.  Another song entitled “So What” is definitely another classical grove for you to relax and enjoy the experimental atmosphere.

Experimentation is the term to describe Rendezvous’ development of musical career. Itai and Hagai enjoyed exploring different grooves and musical influences only to discover the true uniqueness of their music. Well, what more can I say? These guys are just breaking the normal impression of the band’s genre.

On their New Album

And now, we’re looking forward to hear the band’s new album. Yes, it’s not just another stereotypical electronica influenced album because both musicians are working hard to provide a unique impression to the genre, making them stand out among all the other mainstream electro pop bands. And another important news- (for those who love Depeche Mode) Rendezvous is collaborating with Depeche Mode’s producer and mixer, Dave Dascombe, making you and me look forward to hear what this band can offer. Break the silence and let’s try Rendezvous!

Y tu mama tambien

Director: Alfonso Cuarón

Blame it to the raging hormones if you happen to watch a good movie like Y tu mama tambien. But can you really blame the hormones?

Y tu mama tambien is a film that features two teenage boys who are exploring the world of the grown ups: sex, party and the women. There are actually three main characters in the movie: Tenoch Iturbide (Diego Luna), Julio Zapata (Gael Barcia Bernal) and Luisa Cortes (Maribel Verdu). The excitement of the movie starts when the two teenagers, Tenoch and Julio meet Luisa at a wedding. Wanting to impress the older Luisa (who happens to be the Spanish wife of Jano, Tenoch’s cousin), the boys invite her to go to a beach called the la Boca del Cielo, an imaginary place they made up only to make Luisa go with them. Obviously the place doesn’t exist at all, and Luisa, impressed by their stories about the beach, accepts the invitation. The trip on their way to an imaginary beach is a form of an escape to the three characters: Tenoch and Julio are both abandoned by their girlfriends and Luisa running away from Jano, her husband, after his tearful confession about his infidelity with another woman. Y tu mama tambien highlights its themes: rejection, friendship, coming of age and definitely SEX.

With some exciting scenes such as finding yourself watching Tenoch and Julio kissing each other with Luisa kneeling in front of them, the three getting drunk and talking about their sexual experiences and their confessions about repeatedly having sex with the same girls (Luisa and their girlfriends), you will surely feel the thrill and the teenage aura of the movie while comfortably sitting on the couch.

The film ends with Tenoch and Julio talking over coffee, catching up on each other’s lives after a year without any contact to each other (with news about Luisa having been dead a month ago because of cancer).

Y tu mama tambien is a Mexican film about the coming of age, overcoming rejection and dealing with your raging hormones.

Black means seduction and the lace offers sophistication, well what more can you ask for? The Very Sexy Demi Push up Bra is the best thing to wear if you want a very sexy cleavage. The underwire cups have padding for a comfortable lift of your breasts. The Very Sexy Demi Push up Bra is made of imported nylon and spandex.

Just a hint for boyfriends and husbands- this very sexy item is sure to be another sexy gift for her.

Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me

Why are cheerleaders always portrayed as mean creatures? Well, you better ask Taylor Swift, maybe her song (and official music video) has an answer for that.

Whether you’re a cheerleader or the school’s geek, one thing is for sure- you won’t hate Taylor Swift, especially her song entitled “You Belong With Me”. The song is the pretty young artist’s another hit song from her new album “Fearless”.

The song revolves around these three ideas: 1. Geeks always fall for cute guys (obviously!);2. Cheerleaders are always the hottest girls in school (remember you’ve got it served and other cheerleading related movies) and 3. Mean girls can’t always win, good girls always get the good guys.

There is a bit of insecurity in the song as common teens feel when they see other teens their age who are sexier and prettier than them.  It’s actually an age of competition. Obviously it has a youthful teenage aura presenting scenes about growing up and the sweet feeling of infatuation and falling in love (with the boy in the neighborhood who used to be your playmate way back).

“You Belong With Me” is a pop culture influenced song with easy guitar chords and a feel good lyrics that your little sister or some kids in the neighborhood would surely love to sing in the shower or in their bedrooms. And with Taylor Swift’s sweet angelic face, you wouldn’t dare think that she’s being unfair to cheerleaders being mean and never having happy endings with the boy of their dreams.
